New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the online registration process for the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) exam for the academic session 2026-27. It has begun the application process for admission to various Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), NLEA (Lateral Entry), Artisans, and PhD programmes.
Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online for NIFTEE 2026 till January 6 through the official portal at exams.nta.nic.in/niftee. The last date to submit the NIFTEE 2026 application form with late fee is January 10. The Agency has also allowed candidates to edit their registration form between January 12 and 14, 2026. The exam authority will be conducting the NIFTEE exam on February 8.

Step 1: Open the official website of NIFTEE at exams.nta.nic.in/niftee
Step 2: Find the NIFTEE registration link on the homepage
Step 3: Clicking on the link will open the NIFTEE application form
Step 4: Fill in the registration form with all details including academic and personal
Step 5: Scan and upload all the mandatory documents along with photograph and signature
Step 6: Pay the application fee
Step 7: Submit the NIFTEE application form
Step 8: Download the confirmation page and keep the hard copy for future need
The official notice reads, "Candidates may be required to complete Aadhaar-based e-KYC during the online application process for NIFTEE–2026. Applicants must also upload a live photograph, along with the scanned photograph and signature, as specified in the Information Bulletin. Candidates belonging to the PwD/PwBD category must upload a valid UDID Card in the prescribed format."
