A man has been arrested for bludgeoning his 51-year-old wife to death with a stone in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district following an argument, police said on Thursday. In Chaikuda village near Narayanbagd tehsil on November 24, an argument broke out between 55-year-old Mahavir Prasad Deoli and his wife Damyanti Devi. The situation escalated and Deoli, in a fit of rage, allegedly bludgeoned his wife to death with a stone, they said.

TTP terrorists were killed by security forces during an intelligence-based operation in Pakistan's restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the media wing of the country's military said. Police have also apprehended a juvenile accomplice of the accused. "A 25-year-old woman went missing from northeast Delhi's Dayalpur on November 21. Her family members filed a complaint at the Dayalpur police station. While search efforts were underway, the victim's mother expressed suspicion that her daughter was abducted. An FIR was registered and a team launched the investigation," the officer said.
