Ernakulam: The investigation team probing the sexual advancement is all set to register cases against a bunch of social media news portals and people including activists on the charges of cyber stalking and online bullying of a Kochi-based actor, who had raised allegation that a young politician – presumably Palakkad MLA Rahul Mamkoottathil had made sexual advancements towards her by sending obscene messages and calls for nearly two years.

Even though she did not name anyone it was presumed that Rahul Mamkoottathil was the accused. Rahul later resigned from the Youth Congress.

Rini George who is a You-tuber and model had made scathing revelations against the young politician that created shock waves across political spectrums. Following Rini, 3 woman came forward raising sexual advancement allegations against Rahul Mamkoottathil.

Congress leaders divided on Rahul

Meanwhile, a section of Youth Congress leadership and few leaders from the Congress has been communicating with Rahul and has been trying to settle the matter. However, senior leaders including VD Satheeshan and Ramesh Chennithala have made the stance clear on the matter as they communicated with the Palakkad MLA as not to attend the assembly session.
