Police suspect that the six-year-old child was kidnapped and murdered and was thrown into the well in Mancherial district.
Two children aged four and six were kidnapped and murdered in two different incidents in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
In Mancherial district of Telangana, investigations are in full swing to determine the cause of death of a six-year-old girl from Nambala village, Dandepalli mandal.
The body of the child, who went missing two days ago, was found in a well on the outskirts of the village. The parents allege that she was killed and thrown into the well.
Police suspect that she was kidnapped, murdered and thrown into the well. A case has been registered and probe is on.
Four-year-old murdered in Sathya Sai district, AP:
In an equally gruesome incident in the neighbouring state of AP, a four-year-old boy was kidnapped and was later found dead in Gokanapet village, NP Kunta mandal of Sathya Sai district of AP.
The boy went missing on Wednesday, prompting his parents to file a complaint with the police. In the course of investigation, the police found the child’s body in the village on Thursday morning.
The child was reportedly murdered by his aunt’s husband, Prasad.
Prasad had a dispute with the child’s father over financial help for his son’s cancer treatment. The grudge may have lead Prasad to kidnap and murder the child, NP Kunta SI Narasimhulu said.
