New Delhi: A Ukrainian woman was found dead at a house in Jodhpur. Initial findings suggest that the foreign national died of a heart attack in her sleep. Sources said her cremation will be performed in Jodhpur.
Following the appointment of a representative by the Ukrainian embassy, a post-mortem examination was conducted by a medical board, and the body was subsequently handed over.
It is presumed that the woman woke up at 8:30 AM on December 6, greeted a child in the house, and then went back to sleep. She did not wake up until 10:30 AM. The house owner then took her to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in a 108 ambulance, where doctors declared her dead.
The deceased, identified as Kateryna (58), was a resident of Ukraine. She was staying at the house of Gaurav Mishra in Sector 19, Chopasni Housing Board. Reports say she had previously visited India three times and had come this time on a 30-day tourist visa.
After the incident, Gaurav informed her son, Oleg, about her death via social media. Preliminary findings indicate that she died of a heart attack, although the complete cause of death will be confirmed after the post-mortem report.
