IIT JAM admit card 2026 released at joaps.iitb.ac.in; heres how to download

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has released the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2026 admit card today, January 13. Candidates can download the IIT JAM admit card 2026 through the official website, joaps.iitb.ac.in. The enrollment ID and password are required to log in and access the hall ticket.

The JAM 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on February 15 in two shifts. Shift 1 will be conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:30 noon, while shift 2 will be from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The entrance exam will be for a total of seven test papers which include Economics (EN), Geology(GG), Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS) and Physics (PH).

To access and download the IIT JAM admit card 2026, candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps-

  • Step 1: First of all, go to the official website of JOAPS IIT JAM at joaps.iitb.ac.in
  • Step 2: Click on the login link available on the homepage of the official website.
  • Step 3: Enter the enrolment ID, registration ID, email ID and password and then click on submit.
  • Step 4: Once done, the IIT JAM 2026 admit card will appear on the screen.
  • Step 5: Check the details mentioned in the admit card.
  • Step 6: Click on download and take the printout of the admit card to carry on the exam day.

The IIT JAM score is used to select candidates for admission to Master of Science (MSc), MSc (Tech), MS Research, MSc – MTech Dual Degree, joint MSc- PhD and MSc – PhD dual degree programmes in the IITs and participating institutions.

Based on the marks secured by candidates in the IIT JAM exam, a merit list is prepared. Candidates whose names are in the merit list are eligible to participate in the counselling. During the counselling process, candidates are allotted seats on the basis of rank in the merit list, choice of the programme and availability of seats.
