New Delhi: The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bengaluru is set to begin the National Law School Admissions Test (NLSAT) 2026 registration process on November 15. Candidates will be able to apply for NLSAT 2026 by visiting the official website, nls.ac.in. The exam will be conducted on April 26, 2025.
NLSAT exam is conducted for admission to the Bachelor of Arts (BA) Hons, Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB) Hons and Master of Public Policy (MPP) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes at the NLSIU Bengaluru.
The NLSAT 2026 application fee for the general category candidates is Rs 2,500, while other candidates will have to make a payment of Rs 2,000.
To apply for the NLSAT 2026 exam, candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps-
NLSAT 2026 will be conducted offline for a duration of 150 minutes. NLSAT syllabus 2026 comprises parts A and B. Part A include comprehension, current affairs and critical reasoning (legal and logical reasoning). While Part B comprise legal aptitude, reasoning and analytical ability.
As per the NLSAT marking scheme, for every correct answer candidates will get one mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for an incorrect attempt and for every unanswered question. Those who qualify for part A stipulated criteria will be eligible for evaluation of part B. Candidates who qualify for both parts will be eligible for admission.
