Bihar Aurai Assembly Election Result: Aurai is one of the 243 state assembly constituencies in Bihar, and is located in Muzaffarpur district. Polling for this constituency was conducted in the first phase of Bihar Assembly elections on November 6, 2025. 

The current MLA from this constituency is Ram Surat Kumar of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who secured 90,479 votes in the 2020 elections, beating Md Aftab Alam of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation) (CPIMLL) by a margin of 47,866 votes.

According to the 2024 Election Commission data, the total registered elector count for the Aurai constituency is 320,357. Out of this, 170,342 are male voters, 150,006 are female voters and 9 electors are of the third gender. In 2020, the total registered voters were 310,614; out of which 164,454 were male, 146,152 electors were female, and 8 were of the third gender. 

In 2020 Bihar elections, 172,921 out of the total 310,614 voters cast their franchise, marking the voter turnout at 55.67%. Aurai constituency covers an approximate land area of 312.67 sq kms and shares borders with Minapur, Bochaha, Keoti, Jale, Bajpatti and Runnisaidpur districts of Bihar.
