Kanti is one of the state assembly constituencies of Bihar. It is located in the Muzaffarpur district of the state. The current MLA from this constituency is Mohammad Israil Mansuri of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) who secured 64,458 votes in the 2020 elections, beating the independent candidate, Ajit Kumar, by a margin of 10,314 votes.

According to 2024 electoral data from the Election Commission, total registered electors from Kanti constituency is 324,270. Male electors from this constituency amount to 171,180, female electors amount to 153,073 and 17 electors belong to the third gender. The last election’s data from 2020 shows the total number of registered electors at 309,654 where 163,477 electors were male, 146,169 electors were female and 8 electors were of the third gender. In the 2015 elections, the total number of registered electors was 275,200 with 148,871 male electors, 126,323 female electors and 6 electors of the third gender. In the 2020 elections, 196,029 out of the 309,654 total registered electors cast their votes, marking the voter turnout at 63.31% while in the 2015 elections 179,552 out of the 275,200 electors took part in polling, marking the voter turnout in 2015 at 65.24%. Polling for this constituency in the upcoming elections will be taken out in the first phase of elections on 6th November 2025.
