Kuchaikote Assembly Constituency

The Bihar Assembly elections were held on November 6 and November 11, 2025, to elect the 243 members of the state Legislative Assembly. The votes were counted and the results were declared on November 14.

Kuchaikote: A key constituency in Bihar

Kuchaikote is one of the 243 state Assembly constituencies in Bihar and is located in the Gopalganj district. Its current MLA is Amrendra Kumar Pandey of Janata Dal United (JDU). In the 2020 Assembly elections, he secured 74,359 votes, beating Congress's Kali Prasad Pandey by 20,630 votes.

Total voters at the Kuchaikote constituency

According to the Election Commission data from 2024, Kuchaikote has 331,795 registered voters, including 169,311 male voters, 162,457 female voters, and 27 voters of the third gender. In 2020, the total number of voters was 323,263 including 167,573 male voters, 155,662 female voters and 29 voters of the third gender. In 2015, the constituency had 298,698 registered voters, including 155,366 male voters, 143,317 female voters and 15 electors of the third gender. 

Voter turn-out at the Kuchaikote constituency

In 2020, the voter turnout at Kuchaikote constituency was 56.42 per cent with 182,380 people casting their votes. In 2015, 166,910 people cast their votes, and the voter turnout was 55.88 per cent. This year, the polling for this constituency took place in the first phase of elections on November 6. Kuchaikote constituency covers an approximate land area of 342.49 square kilometers and share borders with Gopalganj, Hathua and Bhorey.
