Mahnar constituency

One of the 243 constituencies in Bihar , Mahnar constituency is located in Vaishali district of the state. RJD’s Bina Singh is the current MLA from the constituency. In 2020, he defeated Umesh Singh Kushwaha of Janata Dal (United) (JDU) by a margin of 7,947 votes. This year, assembly polls in the constituency ws held on November 6. 

The EC documents electoral rolls in 2024 at  303,945. Of them,  163,122 electors were males and  140,808 were females. 15 electors were from third gender. In 2024, the EC data put total electors at 313,325 electors. Of them, 164,162 were males and 149,149 . A total of 14 were from third gender. 

Ost of the [eople in the constituency focus on farming for theie living. The constituency shares its borders with six other constituencies of of the state which are Mahua, Patepur, Raja Pakar, Bakhtiarpur, Morwa and Mohiuddinnagar.
