How is Dhwajarohan ceremony different from Pran Pratishtha?
Ayodhya is all decked up for the Dhwajarohan ceremony of the Ram Mandir today. The ceremony marks the completion of the construction of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. Dhwajarohan ceremony will be held during the "Abhijeet Muhurat", which is considered the most auspicious time.
22-feet-long and 11-foot-wide flag will be hoisted on a 42-foot pole atop the spire of Ram Mandir. Over 100 tons of flowers have been used to decorate Ayodhya for the mega event.
Dhwajarohan ceremony marks the formal completion of the Ram Mandir's construction. The ceremony will mark the transition of temple to a sovereign divine abode of Bhagwan Ram. Temple trust officials & the priests say that this ritual proclaims the site's spiritual activation.
