New Delhi: A tragic incident was reported from Delhi’s Prem Nagar area on Sunday evening, where a 6-year-old boy playing on the street was brutally attacked by a pit bull. According to police, a PCR call was received around 5:38 p.m. on November 23, informing them that a small child had been severely bitten by a pit bull and had already been taken to the hospital by his family.

The child was playing outside his home when the neighbour’s pit bull suddenly charged at him. The dog was so aggressive that it ripped off the boy’s right ear. Hearing his screams, locals rushed to the spot and managed to pull the child away from the dog. He was immediately taken to BSA Hospital in Rohini, from where he was referred to Safdarjung Hospital due to his critical condition. He is currently undergoing treatment there.
