Sydney, Australia – Naveed Akram, a 24-year-old man of Pakistani origin, has been identified as the prime suspect in the recent deadly terror attack at Bondi Beach. Authorities have confirmed that Akram, believed to have studied at Hamdard University in Islamabad, had recently lost his job as a bricklayer. This detail is now a key focus in the ongoing investigation into his background and potential motives.

The attack, which occurred during a Hanukkah festival event attended by over a thousand people, claimed 12 lives, including one of the attackers. Two police officers sustained serious injuries, and 29 individuals are currently receiving hospital treatment.

While one attacker was killed at the scene, two others were apprehended, one of whom is reportedly in a critical condition. Police continue to investigate whether the incident was premeditated and if Akram had any connections to extremist networks. The probe remains active as all details are being uncovered.
