New Delhi: Digital payment platform Paytm has started a very interesting scheme for its users, in which now there will be a chance to earn gold on transactions made through the app. Paytm's owner company One97 Communications announced that its loyalty points can now be converted into digital gold. Along with this, the company has also launched a new version of its travel platform, which includes a smart AI assistant.
Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma said that now P2P (Person to Person) and UPI payments made on Paytm have become 'golden'. That is, every time a user sends money or makes a payment from the app, he will receive a reward in the form of Gold Points. These points can then be converted into digital gold.
Vijay Shekhar Sharma said that every payment on Paytm is now a way to earn gold. No other app offers this level of reward. We have kept it very simple and clear, and there is no limit to how much gold you can earn in it.
The company said that users will be able to convert their points into gold when their value reaches Rs 15. That is, as a user makes a payment or purchase, gold points will be added to his account, which can be redeemed later.
Senior Vice President of Paytm Yudal Tiwari said that for every 100 rupees spent, the user will get a gold point. If the payment is made with a RuPay card, the points will be doubled. 100 gold coins can be redeemed as digital gold worth 1 rupees.
Paytm has also completely redesigned its travel platform. Now an AI assistant has been added to it, which will help passengers in ticket booking and travel planning through easy communication. Users can search for destinations by simply talking, get travel ideas, book flight, train, bus or metro tickets and prepare a complete travel plan. The company says that this new feature is in the beta version of AI and will give users a smooth and smart travel experience from planning to payment.
