New Delhi: The last week of 2025 starts on Monday (today). In today's session, investors would be looking at the movement in the stock market and shares they want to invest in. Stocks to be in focus today are as follows: Coforge, Vedanta, Suzlon Energy, Sigachi Industries, Viceroy Hotels, Lloyds Enterprises, Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals, Avantel, Diamond Power Infrastructure, Solarworld Energy Solutions, Punjab National Bank, NBCC (India), Vikran Engineering, Stylam Industries, The Great Eastern Shipping Company.

Coforge

Also Read

IT company Coforge has tied up with Advent International, Warburg Pincus and other shareholders to purchase 100 percent shares of Encora. The total value of this deal is about Rs 17,032.6 crore. The company's board has approved raising funds of up to $550 million, which will be done through QIP. This amount will be used to repay Encora's term loan.

Sigachi Industries

The company's managing director and CEO Amit Raj Sinha was sent on remand on 27 December. This case is related to the incident of fire that took place on June 30 in the Pashamylaram unit of Hyderabad. The company has said that daily activities are continuing as normal. Currently, Deputy Group CEO Lijo Stephen Chacko will take over the operations. Besides this, a board meeting will be held on 31 December, in which it will be considered to raise funds by issuing non-convertible debentures through private placement.

Viceroy Hotels

Viceroy Hotels shareholders have approved the acquisition of SLN Terminus Hotels and Resorts. The deal is worth Rs 206 crore.

Lloyds Enterprises

The company has entered into a loan agreement to borrow Rs 361 crore to repay the remaining amount for the warrant conversion of Lloyds Metals and Energy. Also, its subsidiary Lloyds Engineering Works has changed the agreement to purchase the remaining 12 percent shares of Techno Industries. After the acquisition is completed, the company's stake in Techno Industries will be 100 percent.

Vedanta

Vedanta has been declared a successful bidder of Depo Graphite Vanadium Block in the Critical Mineral Auction. This will further strengthen the company's critical mineral portfolio.

Suzlon Energy

Vivek Srivastava, CEO of the company's WTG division, has resigned from his post on 26 December.

Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals

The company's President Finance Rajkumar Bafna has decided to resign from 31 December due to personal reasons.

Diamond Power Infrastructure

The company has received a letter of intent for power cable supply worth 66.18 million rupees from EPC contractor Hild Projects.

Avantel

Avantel has received a contract worth 4.16 million rupees from the Ministry of Defence for the maintenance of Satcom equipment.

Solarworld Energy Solutions

The company has received an order from NTPC Renewable Energy for the EPC work of 250 MW AC Grid Connected Solar Project. The total cost of this project is Rs 725.33 Crore.

Punjab National Bank

PNB has informed RBI about the Rs 2,434 crore loan scam. This case is related to the old promoters of SREI Equipment Finance and SREI Infrastructure Finance. These companies have been resolved in the CIRP process under NCLT.

NBCC (India)

The old dispute between the NBCC and the Delhi government over 42.46 acres of land in Ghitorni village has been resolved. Under the agreement, the land will be distributed equally. NBCC will get 21.23 acres of land on which the Delhi government will make a permanent lease deed.

Vikran Engineering

The company has accepted the Letter of Award from MP Urja Vikas Nigam for setting up a 45.75 MW AC solar power plant in Madhya Pradesh.

Stylam Industries

Aica Kogyo Company has announced an open offer to buy 26 percent stake in Stylam Industries. This offer will be at Rs 2,250 per share. If the offer is fully accepted, the total deal value will be around Rs 991.46 crore.

The Great Eastern Shipping Company

The company has signed an agreement to sell its huge gas carrier Jag Vishnu built in 2002. This ship will be handed over to the new buyer in the fourth quarter of FY26.
