Waaree Energies shares recover from 52-week low: What has led to the jump

Waaree Energies shares experienced a significant 7.83% increase to close at Rs 3702 on the BSE. The stock surged 74% over the past six months. The company had posted a strong Q1 Results and its order book is very strong.

New Delhi: Waaree Energies shares jumped 7.83 per cent on September 11, 2025 Wednesday to close at Rs 3,702 per equity share on BSE. Because of the jump, the shares of Solar photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturers were trending high.

Waaree Energies shares have been in news in the recent months as the stock skyrocketed around 74 per cent in the last six months. The stock has reached close to its record high level of Rs 3,740.45. Notably, the Multibagger share has recovered 99 per cent from its 52-week low level of Rs 1,808.65.

The shares of Waaree Energies made stock market debut on October 28, 2024. It listed with 139 per cent gains over its issue price of Rs 1,503 per share.

In August 2025, brokerage firms - Chola Securities and UBS exuded confidence in Waaree Energies and suggested buying the stock.

Waaree Energies investors have been optimistic about the stock price as the company’s order book stood at nearly Rs 49,000 crore. The firm’s management is confident of getting big orders from India and the US.

Waaree Energies Q1 Results FY26

In its April-June quarter FY26 results, Waaree Energies posted strong financial growth and unveiled key expansion plans. In its financials, the firm declared a total income of Rs 4,597.18 crore during the first quarter of FY26, while the same stood at Rs 3,496.41 crore in the same quarter last year.

Waaree Energies’ EBITDA for the quarter ending June recorded a growth of 82.61 per cent at Rs 1,168.67 crore, while net profit surged 92.68% YoY to Rs 772.89 crore. Earnings per share (Basic) jumped to Rs 25.94 from Rs 14.98.

Waaree Energies Limited came into existence in 1990. The company’s headquarter is located in Mumbai, where the firm has state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities with an installed capacity of ~15 GW for solar PV modules and 5.4 GW for solar cells. The company has its presence in India and 25+ countries worldwide.
