Mumbai: In another high-end real estate deal in Mumbai that underscores the continued strength of the city’s premium property segment, Bollywood icon Salman Khan has sold his apartment in Bandra West for Rs 5.35 crore. The flat, situated in the upscale Shiv Asthan Heights on 16th Road, spans approximately 1,318 sq ft and comes with three reserved parking spaces.
Officially registered on July 15, 2025, the sale attracted a stamp duty of Rs 32.01 lakh and registration charges of Rs 30,000, according to documents accessed by real estate portal Square Yards.
While Khan has not publicly commented on the sale, the property had previously been leased out in early 2023 for a three-year term. The monthly rent in the first year was Rs 1.5 lakh, with a clause for annual increases. The tenant was a private individual.
Bandra West remains one of Mumbai’s most desirable residential addresses, blending historic bungalows with sleek high-rises and boutique commercial spaces. Its proximity to business hubs such as the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), Lower Parel, and the international airport, along with excellent road and rail connectivity, continues to make it a hotspot for affluent homebuyers and investors.
This Bandra apartment sale is not the actor’s only recent property move. In 2023, he leased out more than 23,000 sq ft of commercial space in Santacruz to Landcraft Retail Pvt Ltd. The deal, one of the largest commercial leases in the city that year, was inked at a monthly rent of Rs 90 lakh, amounting to over Rs 12 crore annually and included a security deposit of Rs 5.4 crore.
Earlier in 2025, Khan also completed a major security overhaul at his long-time residence, Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, following a shooting incident outside the building.
