New Delhi: The University of Delhi has released the detailed information brochure for DU undergraduate (UG) admission for the academic session 2026–27. Candidates can access and download the brochure through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG) portal, admission.uod.ac.in.
DU UG admissions 2026 will be held through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG). As per the brochure, there are no major changes in the DU UG admission process this year. The university has decided to retain its subject eligibility rules even after the University Grants Commission (UGC) had relaxed norms allowing students to appear for CUET subjects not studied in Class 12.
DU UG admission CUET subject remains same
Delhi University has made it mandatory for candidates to appear in CUET UG 2026 only for those subjects they studied in Class 12. While the UGC had permitted flexibility in subject selection, DU has chosen to maintain its existing eligibility framework. The university clarified that admission decisions will strictly follow the subject combinations notified in the CSAS brochure.
Registration guidelines for different categories
All Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) applicants seeking regular UG admissions must register for CUET UG 2026 through cuet.nta.nic.in. To be considered for seat allocation, after qualifying CUET candidates must also register on DU’s CSAS portal at admission.uod.ac.in.

SOL applicants must apply via sol.du.ac.in, while NCWEB candidates should register at ncwebadmission.uod.ac.in.
For foreign nationals, 10 per cent supernumerary seats are reserved in each programme. For international applicants, DU has introduced a dedicated portal, fsr.du.ac.in.
