New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the advance intimation for allotment of examination city for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 session 1 today, January 8. It has activated the JEE Main 2026 exam city intimation slip link on the official portal at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates need to use their application number and password to check JEE Main city slip.
The Agency has also announced that the JEE Main session 1 exams 2026 will be held from January 21 to 29. The JEE Main session 2 exams will be conducted from April 1 to 10, 2026. Candidates must clearly note that the JEE Main exam city slip is different from admit card.
The official notice reads, "This is not the Admit Card for JEE (Main) - 2026 Session 1. This is advance information for the allotment of the City where the Examination Centre will be located, to facilitate the candidates. The Admit Card of JEE (Main) – 2026 Session-1 shall be issued later.
