New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is all set to close the choice filling window for NEET UG counselling 2025 round 1 today, August 4. Candidates should note that all the registered candidates for the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling can submit and lock their choices through the official website at mcc.nic.in.
According to the NEET UG counselling schedule, the choice locking facility will begin at 4 pm today. This facility will remain open until the deadline. After closing the choice filling, the MCC will begin the NEET UG round 1 seat allotment process. The MCC NEET UG round 1 seat allotment result 2025 will be released on August 6. Candidates who are allotted a seat must report to their respective institutes between August 7 and August 11 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses.

Step 3: Find the choice filling link
Step 4: Enter the login credentials such as registration number and date of birth
Step 5: Lock the choices with great attention
Step 6: Submit the NEET UG counselling choices and lock the same
Step 7: Download and take a printout of locked choices for future reference
The MCC will be conducting the NEET UG counselling 2025 in three rounds followed by a stray vacancy round. The counselling is conducted for admission to MBBS and BDS courses - 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats from participating states; 100 per cent seats of Banaras Hindu University (BHU), All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), JIPMER Puducherry and Karaikal, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU); 85 per cent institutional quota seats of Delhi University, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and Faculty of Dentistry seats at Jamia Millia Islamia.
