XAT 2026 application correction begins today; make changes by November 27

Candidates can make changes in the XAT application form online through the official website, xatonline.in. XAT exam is scheduled to be held on January 4, 2026.

New Delhi: The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2026 application correction process has started today, November 25. Registered candidates can make changes in XAT application form 2026 by November 27.

The XAT form correction link is available on the official website, xatonline.in.The XAT form correction link which will remain active for 48 hours allows candidates to review and edit the personal information, academic details, work experience, contact information and test city choice.

If anyone fails to make the changes or enter the wrong information, he or she can contact the conducting authority through mail at xatadministration@xlri.ac.in.

Steps for XAT 2026 application correction

To make changes in the form, candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps-

Step 1: First, go to the XAT official website, xatonline.in
Step 2: Next, log in by entering the registered email ID and password
Step 3: After logging in, navigate to application correction
Step 4: Review the form and make the necessary changes in the details
Step 5: Check all the updated information for accuracy and then click on ‘Save Changes’. Step 6: Submit the updated form
Step 7: Once the submission is done, download and keep a printout of the confirmation page for records.  

XAT 2026 exam pattern 

The XAT 2026 paper will have a total of 95 multiple-choice questions across four sections which include verbal and logical ability (26 questions), decision making (21 questions), quantitative ability and data interpretation (28 questions) and general knowledge (20 questions). The exam will be held for a duration is 180 minutes.

As per the XAT marking scheme, one mark will be awarded for a correct answer. For incorrect attempt, 0.25 marks will be deducted. If there are more than 8 un-attempted consecutive questions then 0.10 marks will be deducted. There is no negative marking in the GK section.
