Mumbai: Dharmendra and Hema Malini were one of Bollywood's most iconic pairs. Their sizzling on-screen chemistry and comic timing made them an unforgettable duo in the industry. The couple have acted in over 40 movies, especially between the 1970s and 1980s. Their on-screen chemistry translated to off-screen. They tied the knot in 1980 when Dharmendra was already married to his first wife, Prakash Kaur. The duo went on to have two daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.

This 1975 movie, filled with action, adventure, and drama, is one of the greatest films ever made. Dharmendra played the role of Veeru, and Hema portrayed the character Basanti. Like their other films, Dharmendra and Hema Malini left their fans mesmerised with their chemistry as Veeru and Basanti. 

In this 1977 movie, Hema played the role of a glamorous con artist. Dharmendra, on the other hand, portrayed the role of a hero trying to uncover the real identity of Hema's character. This movie is yet another example of their chemistry.

The movie, which features Hema in a double role, became one of her turning points in her career. Hema portrayed Seeta & Geeta. Dharmendra played the role of Geeta’s love interest, Raka. This 1972 movie was a big hit at the box office. 

The plot of the movie revolves around a street performer, played by Dharmendra. He discovers a girl, portrayed by Hema, and goes on to teach her to mimic a missing princess. The emotional movie became one of the highest-grossing films of 1972. 

Dharmendra and Hema played the roles of an undercover agent and his partner in this movie. Released in 1976, the film was shot in beautiful locations abroad. The song Kal Ki Haseen Mulaqat Ke Liye from the movie became very popular.
