New Delhi: After months of speculation, it has been seemingly confirmed that Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are expecting their first child, and the baby is due in October-November. According to the NDTV report, a source confirmed that the couple is all set to embrace parenthood. However, there is no official announcement or statement from the celebrity couple on the same.
The rumours about Katrina Kaif’s pregnancy have been doing the rounds for months, but the couple has remained tight-lipped. Now, it seems like the cat is finally out of the bag.
The report by the publication also stated that Katrina Kaif will be taking a long maternity leave once the baby arrives, as she wishes to be a hands-on mother. However, an official announcement is still awaited.
Earlier, during the trailer launch of Bad Newz, Vicky Kaushal was quizzed about the ongoing pregnancy rumours, he said, “As far as the good news is concerned , we will be very happy to share it with you, but for now, there is no truth to the speculations. Abhi Bad Newz enjoy kijiye, jab good news ayega toh hum aapke saath zarur share karenge (Till then enjoy the film, Bad Newz, and when we are ready with the good news, we will share with you)."
A few days back, Katrina Kaif was also spotted in a loose shirt, which further fuelled the pregnancy rumours. A few months back, a Reddit post also went viral where a picture of Vicky and Katrina with a graphic image of baby footprints circulated on social media with a caption, “In 2025, we become a family tree.”
Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal tied the knot in 2021 in a fairytale wedding ceremony at the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan. The couple got married in presence of close friends and family members. After their wedding, they shared their official pictures that left fans in a complete meltdown. Since then, they often share pictures from their vacations, family time, and celebrations during festivals.
