They plan to host a traditional wedding ceremony on December 5, blending their two faiths in a grand celebration of love.
The couple announced the news on Instagram, sharing heartfelt photos from their intimate ceremony. The caption read, “Sealed Together. Two faiths. One Script. Infinite Love.. The signatures are sealed. ‘Qubool Hai’ Se ‘Saat Phere’ tak, the vows await this DECEMBER - Two hearts, Two cultures, One Forever. Our love story is crafting a union where faiths blend, not divide. Because when Love is the headline, Everything else becomes a beautiful subplot. So give us your blessing as this union is for all. #KriSa #saraforkrish #BrandedwithLove #madeinindialove (sic).”
The announcement quickly went viral, with fans and industry friends flooding the comments section with congratulatory messages.
Speaking about their relationship and interfaith union, Sara shared her perspective in an interview with ETimes. “Love is the greatest faith of all. Every religion teaches us to love first, and that is what we believe in,” she said. Reflecting on her bond with Krish, she added, “I have grown so much in this relationship. I have made my share of mistakes in life, but Krish feels like my best decision. We are learning from each other every day, and this marriage is truly a partnership in every sense.”
Krish is the son of veteran actor Sunil Lahri, who gained national fame for playing Lakshman in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan. Krish has appeared in shows like POW: Bandi Yuddh Ke and Yeh Jhuki Jhuki Si Nazar.
Sara rose to fame in 2007 with Bidaai and went on to feature in popular shows such as Sasural Simar Ka, Ram Milaayi Jodi, V The Serial, and Bhagyalaxmi. She also made headlines during her stint on Bigg Boss Season 4, where she married actor Ali Merchant on national television. The marriage, however, ended within two months in 2011.
