New Delhi: Salman Khan-hosted show, Bigg Boss Season 19, is one of the most-awaited reality shows of the year. While several names of the contestants have started doing rounds on the internet, one name has particularly caught attention of the viewers. According to a report by Bombay Times, Boxing legend Mike Tyson is in talks with the makers to enter the home as a wildcard guest. Yes, you read it right!
However, there is no official confirmation on the same. Some of the confirmed names to enter the house are Gaurav Khanna, Ashnoor Kaur, Payal Dhare, Hunar Hali Gandhi, Siwet Tomar, Arbaaz Patel, Khank Waghnani, Awez Darbar, and Nagma Mirajkar, among others.
According to Bombay Times report, the makers are negotiating Mike Tyson’s appearance on the show and his fees. If the deal gets locked, he might stay in the house for a week or 10 days. A source was quoted as saying, “We are in advanced discussions with Tyson and his team, and are currently negotiating his fee. If the deal works out, he is expected to enter the house in October for a week or 10 days. The dates, however, are yet to be finalised.”
It is also being said that Tyson’s appearance on the show might boost appeal globally that international stars once brought to the reality show. The insider further shared, “We haven’t had international celebrities in a while, and they played a key role in boosting the show’s appeal during its earlier seasons.”
Earlier, international stars such as Baywatch icon Pamela Anderson made a three-day appearance on Bigg Boss Season 4, and Sunny Leone made waves with her stint on Bigg Boss Season 5.
Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Salman Khan, will have its grand premiere on August 24. Viewers can catch the premiere episode 9 pm onwards on JioHotstar and 10:30 pm onwards on Colors TV.
