The much-awaited show, Bigg Boss Malayalam season 7, has already premiered on August 3.  It premiered on the Asianet television channel and is also streaming on JioHotstar. The timings of the show are 7 PM.  The reality show is hosted by Mohanlal for the seventh consecutive season since its inception from the year 2018.

The contestants who are a part of this season of Bigg Boss Malayalam are as follows: Aneesh Tharayil, Anumol, Aryan Kathuria, Kalabhavan Sariga, Akbar Khan, RJ Bincy, Oneal Sabu, Binny Sebastian, Munshi Ranjith, Shaitya Santhosh, Gizele Thakral, Abhilash, Rena Fathima, Renu Sudhi, Appani Sarath, Sarika K B, Shanavas, and Nevin. One LGBTQ couple, Fathima Noora and Adhila Nasarin, is also a part of the show. Over three months, around 20 contestants will be participating in this season 

The first episode showed the actor and the host of the show, Mohanlal, introducing the contestants and giving a tour of the house where all the participants will be living for the next three months. The host also showed the entire house by giving a tour to the viewers, showing the kitchen, dining hall, and other spaces.
