Diljit Dosanjh's Sydney Concert Faces SFJ Threat on 1984 Remembrance Day

Diljit Dosanjh's Sydney concert on 1st November faces threats from the pro-Khalistan group Sikhs For Justice (SFJ). SFJ plans a protest, accusing Dosanjh of disrespecting 1984 Sikh genocide victims by performing on the designated remembrance day and for a viral video with Amitabh Bachchan, whom they blame for allegedly inciting 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

Tension has erupted ahead of Diljit Dosanjh's concert in Sydney, Australia, scheduled for 1st November. The pro-Khalistan group Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) has threatened to disrupt the show, asserting that the concert disrespects the Sikh community as 1st November is observed as the Sikh Genocide Remembrance Day by the Akal Takht Sahib, Sikhisms highest authority.

SFJ intends to organise a protest rally outside the venue, accusing Dosanjh of disrespecting victims of the 1984 massacre. Their grievances also stem from a recent video showing Diljit Dosanjh with Amitabh Bachchan. SFJ blames Bachchan for allegedly inciting mobs during the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, SFJs counsel and a designated terrorist, claims Dosanjh has insulted every victim and widow of the 1984 genocide. The group has formally requested the Akal Takht Jathedar to summon Diljit Dosanjh. The Akal Takht declared the 1984 killings a genocide in 2010 and designated 1st November as a remembrance day, making the concerts timing a contentious issue within the community.
