Mumbai: 120 Bahadur is slated to release on November 21. Speaking of the film in an interview, Farhan Akhtar stated that the movie's edit made his father Javed Akhtar cry.

Farhan claimed that his father was touched by the movie despite not being a person who cries that easily. He stated, "He loved it. He's seen the film. He's seen the film in an edit as well. He was very moved. He's not somebody who cries very easily when he's watching a film. But he was very, very teary and very, very choked up at the end. So we really felt like we've managed to do something."

Director Razneesh Ghai and producer Ritesh Sidhwani were also present at the interview.

Meanwhile, Farhan stated that his sister and filmmaker Zoya Akhtar will watch the movie on the 19th of November, along with others from the industry.

The film is directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani,  Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment), and Amit Chandrra (Trigger Happy Studios). It is based on the battle of Rezang La.

In another interview, Farhan spoke of the challenges faced while shooting the film.

"You're shooting in any place that is inhospitable to a certain degree; it's always a challenge. Ladakh, of course. So we were shooting at about 14,000 feet. The weather was extremely hot at times and then extremely cold. We experienced dust storms like I'd never seen before in Ladakh - and I've been there many times myself," said the actor.

He continued, "So, all in all, for the crew and the cast, it was a challenge. But, you know, I genuinely feel that with certain films there's an X factor - a power, I don't know what you want to call it- that really galvanises a team when it comes to subjects like this. Something else carries you. You don't wake up in the morning thinking, 'Is it going to be a difficult day?' You wake up with a spring in your step, knowing there's a purpose to making this film."
