Singer Palak Muchhal fondly talked to News9 about her bond with Salman Khan. She said, "The very first time he met me, I was just 13 years old then, and he was incredibly kind, encouraging, and so very sweet. For me, receiving such warmth and belief from someone so accomplished was encouraging. He heard me sing, he was aware of my charity work, and he was especially happy to know that I come from Indore — his hometown.”
Palak shared that Salman Khan was the one who gave her first career break. "He made me sing a small part in a film called Veer. And then one day, he simply said, ‘That’s it — you’re going to record a big, big song for my film.’ That’s how my Bollywood journey truly began with Ek Tha Tiger,” she said with a smile. "Ever since then, he has made sure that I have a song in every film he does.”
Talking about Salman’s nature off-screen, the singer added, "He is someone who considers others’ happiness as his own. If you approach him with any problem—even if he doesn’t know you personally—he will make sure that before you leave him, your problem is addressed. He genuinely cannot bear to see people unhappy and goes far beyond limits to bring happiness into their lives.”
Palak also praised Salman Khan’s philanthropic efforts through Being Human Foundation. "When he learned about the long waiting list of children needing heart surgeries through my mission, he immediately stepped forward and took responsibility for 100 cases from that list,” she shared. "He ensured that those children were operated upon.”
For Palak, Salman Khan may be Bollywood’s biggest superstar, but beyond the fame and success, she sees something far greater. "To me, the human being that he is shines far brighter than all his success,” she said emotionally.
