Kaanta Laga girl Shefali Jariwala died due to low blood pressure? Doctors suspect so

New Delhi: In a latest development in Shefali Jariwala’s death, the doctors suspect a sudden drop in blood pressure, followed by a cardiac arrest as the cause of the death. However, a detailed post-mortem report is still awaited. According to the police, the 42-year-old actor collapsed at her Mumbai home on Friday (June 27) night.

She was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri, where she was declared dead on arrival. Later, her body was shifted to RN Cooper Hospital, Juhu, for the post-mortem.

According to preliminary findings, a sharp drop in blood pressure, followed by cardiac arrest may have caused her death. However, the cause of her death has not been officially confirmed.

Reportedly, on the day of her death, Shefali was fasting due to a puja at her home. According to reports, she fainted and collapsed during her first meal later that night. 

Meanwhile, the police have recorded statements of the actor’s husband and family members. Police officials also found two boxes containing anti-ageing tablets, skin glow tablets and vitamin tablets from her home. The actor’s family confirmed to police that she has been taking the tablets without doctor’s consultation but it never caused any problem to her. The police have also said that no foul play is suspected in the death of the actress.
