Mumbai: Kapil Sharma reflected on the passing of Dharmendra and cherished his memories. The actor speaking at a press meet stated, "Everyone knows what he meant to me. And Dharam ji’s passing is such that everyone feels as if someone from their own family has gone." He then recollected how Dharmendra agreed to appear on his show after they bonded on a flight to Toronto. "At that time, no one even knew what our show was, what it wasn’t....I met Dharam paaji for the first time on a flight. We were going to Toronto.
And on that flight, we became such good friends—you won’t believe it—Paaji kept telling us jokes throughout the entire flight. And we bonded so much…" He added, "It felt like losing a father for the second time for me. But the truth is, whoever comes into this world has to leave one day. But for good people, there’s always this feeling in your heart—if only we had a little more time, if only we could have met once more." He added that he will also remember the veteran actor. "When we remember him, a smile naturally comes to the face," said the comedian.
