Kapil Sharmas Kap's Cafe, located in Surrey, Canada, has been subjected to a second shooting incident within a month. The latest attack, which occurred on Thursday night, involved approximately 25 shots fired at the establishment, resulting in damage to the windows and exterior.
This follows a previous incident on July 10th, 2025, where around nine shots were fired, causing damage to the building. Notably, no injuries have been reported in either attack. Adding to the gravity of the situation, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has publicly claimed responsibility for the second attack.
This claim was made via a social media post, in which the gang not only admitted to the Surrey shooting but also issued a direct threat against Kapil Sharma, stating their "next action will be in Mumbai".
A statement purportedly from a Bishnoi gang member on Facebook claimed that they had contacted Sharma previously, but acted because they received no response. "We take responsibility for the firing in Surrey. We had called him, but he did not hear the ring, so we had to take action. If he still does not hear the ring next action will be in Mumbai," the statement reportedly read.
