New Delhi: Comedian Kapil Sharma's cafe, Kap's Cafe, which has recently opened in Canada's Surrey, has survived a shooting incident and is all set to reopen again. The cafe has been badly affected by the firing that took place a week ago. But now it is ready to operate again.
The Kap's Cafe Instagram handle has put up a post indicating that it is reopening again, and Kapil also shared the post in his story with an encouragement message. Dive inside to know what's the next move of the Kapil's cafe team.
Kapil Sharma encouraged his Cannada cafe team and re-shared the post on his story by writing, ''Proud of you, team" accompanied by a heart emoji. The post had a message which said, ''We've missed you and are truly grateful for your continued love and support. With heartfelt thanks, we're opening our doors again-ready to welcome you back with warmth, comfort, and care. See you soon, 8 am to 10 pm.''
The caption of the post mentioned,'' Opening Tomorrow, The lights are on, the coffee’s warm, and our hearts are full. Kap’s Cafe reopens tomorrow. Catch us daily from 8 AM to 10 PM. See you there."
On July 10, several gunshots were fired outside the cafe, as reported by Surrey, Canada police. At that moment, some staff were inside the venue, and they called the incident heartbreaking. While no one was hurt or injured physically, but ten bullet holes were seen at the cafe's window pane, as reported by the ANI.
After the incident took place, the cafe shared a heartwarming note and wrote, "We opened Kap's Cafe with hopes of bringing warmth, community, and joy through delicious coffee and friendly conversation. To have violence intersect with that dream is heartbreaking. We are processing this shock, but we are not giving up."
It also mentioned that the cafe stands strong with its supporters and visitors, and also expressed its gratitude for all the heartfelt messages.
