Over the past few days, several Reddit threads have accused the actor of being romantically linked to a 17-year-old girl, triggering sharp backlash and heated debate across social media platforms.
According to Reddit users, the girl in question has been identified as Karina Kubiliute. Several posts claim she was born in 2008, making her 17 years old.
One Redditor alleged, “She is not even 18. All the rumours were true. He was following her and now unfollowed. He has a thing for teenage girl. This guy is in deep shit. One post read, “He unfollowed her now Kartik’s PR agent is among us on this reddit post.” Others pointed to similar Instagram stories shared by both from Goa during New Year celebrations. “Kartik aaryan is with karina kubiliute in goa for new years. Both posted similar stories,” claimed another user.
Public reaction on Reddit has been largely critical. Comments expressing anger and disgust have dominated discussion threads. “Disgusting he is,” wrote one user, while another demanded, “Get Karthik aaryan canceled. What a creep.” Some believe the controversy could cause long-term damage, with one post stating, “There is no recovery from this. This is a career ending stunt for good.”
Past allegations have also resurfaced. A Redditor recalled, “Years ago a girl posted here how kartik aryan came in her college took her snapchat id” and tried to ask for inappropriate pictures even though the girl clearly mentioned she was 17. Raised in the Carlisle and Wetheral areas of Cumbria, Karina is reportedly of Lithuanian descent and has connections to Greece. Her mother, Jovita Kubiliene-Thompson, runs a hospitality business, while her father, David Thompson, is also involved. An active student, Karina has participated in cheerleading and sports. She took to Instagram to shut down the dating rumours and updated her bio, "I don’t know Kartik, I’m not his gf, I’m on holiday with my family."
A friend of Karina reportedly denied any romantic link, but scepticism remains high. So far, Kartik Aaryan and his team have issued no official response, despite online speculation continuing to intensify.
