New Delhi: South Korean actress Kim Yoon-Hye, known for her performances in Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born and Love Scout, has announced that she will soon be tying the knot. The actress’s agency, J-Wide Company, confirmed the happy news and shared details about her upcoming wedding, which will be held later this month.
In a statement released on October 13, the agency revealed, “On the 25th, actress Kim Yoon-hye will tie the knot with a precious partner she has chosen to spend her life with. The wedding will be held quietly at a location in Seoul, considering the privacy of the non-celebrity groom and both families. We kindly ask for your understanding that we cannot disclose further details about the ceremony.” The statement also added, “We ask for your warm blessings and support for Kim Yoon-hye as she embarks on this new chapter in her life. She will continue to show her best through various projects as an actress.”
According to Korean media reports, the wedding will take place in a private ceremony attended only by close family members and friends. Her fiancé, who is not from the entertainment industry, was described as someone she deeply trusts and wishes to build her future with.
Kim Yoon-Hye, 34, began her career as a child model at the age of 11, appearing on the cover of Vogue Girl in 2002 under the stage name “Woori.” She was soon recognised for her striking visuals and became a popular face in fashion magazines and MTV Asia. Over the years, she transitioned into acting, using her real name, and went on to feature in a number of successful dramas and films.
Her notable works include My Sassy Girl, Shooting Stars, The Vampire Detective, Vincenzo, and Netflix’s Goodbye Earth. She received wide acclaim for her role as Seo Hye-Rang in Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born (2024), where she portrayed the ambitious heroine of the Maeran Theatre Troupe.
Earlier this year, she starred in the romantic drama Love Scout, alongside Han Ji-Min and Lee Joon-Hyuk, where her performance as the second lead was praised for its emotional depth and maturity.
