New Delhi: Marvel’s 2026 TV slate was unveiled with fanfare at New York Comic Con, and several high-profile projects were confirmed for Disney+ (JioHotstar in India). The lineup was presented as an ambitious mix of returning favourites and bold new series, with Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, Wonder Man and VisionQuest taking centre stage.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 was announced as arriving in March 2026. Charlie Cox’s return as Matt Murdock was confirmed and Krysten Ritter was named to reprise Jessica Jones. It was revealed that Elden Henson will be back as Foggy and that Bullseye, portrayed by Wilson Bethel, will return.

Matthew Lillard was also announced as a new addition. A darker tone was hinted at in the teaser and Cox was quoted saying, “All bets are off. The world has changed a lot for Matt and for superheroes in general. It's a much more sinister world. It's a scary place for people who are trying to do the right thing, trying to do good.” The suggestion that a Defenders reunion could be on the cards was made, and a third season was teased.

Wonder Man was given a premiere date of January 27, 2026. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will lead as Simon Williams, and Sir Ben Kingsley will return as Trevor Slattery. The series was described as a meta take on fame and stardom. Speaking about the show, Abdul-Mateen said, “As an actor, there's so much that goes into it. There's vulnerability, there's ego, there's hopes and dreams, there's ambition, there's the lonely road. As Simon, I get to walk that fine line and experience all of that. I'm really excited to share Simon's journey towards achieving his dream.” The eight-episode run was positioned as a satire of Hollywood and superhero culture.

VisionQuest was announced as the conclusive chapter in the arc begun with WandaVision and Agatha All Along. Paul Bettany’s involvement was highlighted as he teased White Vision’s psychological journey. Bettany said, “What’s different about Vision right now is that Red Vision gave Vision all of his memories, including the memories from within the Hex. But White Vision is having real difficulty connecting to them. White Vision’s journey during the show is about his attempt to connect to those memories and who he was… but with lasers!” A cast of familiar AI personas in human form was confirmed, and James Spader’s Ultron was named among expected returns.

In addition, it was revealed that Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man Season 2 will arrive in autumn 2026 and X-Men ’97 Season 2 will follow in summer 2026. Animated projects and spin-offs were said to round out Marvel’s output, signalling a crowded schedule for the studio next year.

Overall, Marvel’s 2026 roadmap was presented as both fan-friendly and expansive. Which one are you excited for the most?
