Kingdom, starring Vijay Deverakonda, is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, it is produced by S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanyaunder under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. It also stars Bhagyashri Borse and Satyadev in important roles. The teaser of the film was unveiled in February. Notably, the teaser features voice-overs by prominent actors, including NT Rama Rao Jr. in Telugu, Siriya in Tamil and Ranbir Kapoor in Hindi. The film is scheduled to release on July 31, 2025.

Starring Prabhas, The Raja Saab is another much-awaited Telugu movie, directed by Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory. It also features Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, Risshi Kumar and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles. The film revolves around a young heir who embraces his royal heritage and rebellious spirit as he rises to power. The film is slated to release on December 5, 2025.

The Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer Akhanda 2 is directed by Boyapati Srinu. The action drama is produced by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner​. While the specific plot remains under wraps, the film is expected to delve deeper into themes of spirituality, action and drama. The movie is scheduled to release on September 25, 2025.

Directed by Shaneil Deo, Dacoit starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, the movie is set to release in December 25, 2025. The pan-Indian drama also features Anurag Kashyap in pivotal roles. The movie revolves around an angry convict who seeks vengeance against his ex-girlfriend who betrayed him.

Sujeeth’s directorial, OG, starring Pawan Kalyan, is also one of the highly anticipated Telugu movies of the year. The film revolves around the world of gangster, revenge and loyalty.
