New Delhi: The wait is finally over. India’s biggest superstar Prabhas has officially begun shooting for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s next big venture, SPIRIT. The grand muhurat saw Megastar Chiranjeevi gracing the event as the special guest, marking the film’s energetic start.
Backed by hitmaker Bhushan Kumar under T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, SPIRIT promises massive scale, raw emotion, and explosive storytelling. Joining Prabhas is Triptii Dimri, reuniting with the Animal team for a fresh and fiery pairing. With cameras rolling and expectations soaring, this pan-world entertainer is set to redefine cinematic spirit.
Amid the start of the shooting of Sandeep Ready Vanga's grand venture, Telugu actress Rashi Khanna expressed a nuanced perspective on the topic of working hours to TV9 English. She stated that the question of working hours is very subjective and depends greatly on individual circumstances and career stage.
"At this point, I can give 12 hours, so I will say yes, take 12 hours," she said, emphasising that sometimes producers, especially new ones, may seek more commitment during financially uncertain times.
She added she is okay extending her working hours to 13 or 14 on some occasions, but not every day. "It is very subjective. It depends on who the producers are and which phase of life you’re in. When you’re a newbie, you’re ready to work for 18 hours," Khanna stated.
She advocated for a normal working time limit of around 10-12 hours, after which extensions or reductions could be mutually decided between producers and actors based on circumstances. "Now it’s up to the producers; either they will say it works for them or not," she said, highlighting the need for mutual understanding and flexibility between actors and producers on working hours.
This comes amid the release of Spirit, which is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starring Prabhas. The film is set to release soon and has generated considerable buzz among Hindi and Telugu film fans. Spirit promises intense action and an engaging storyline, with Prabhas committed to a physically demanding role in the film. Rashi Khanna's take on long working hours clearly reflects her perspective.
In summary, Khanna’s remarks reveal her balanced view that while long working hours can sometimes be necessary, respectful limits and mutual agreements should guide the work culture.
