New Delhi: Ranveer Singh's highly anticipated film Don 3 is in the works. However, Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra will not be starring in the Farhan Akhtar directorial. Reports suggesting that the two stars will make cameo appearances in the film have been dismissed by sources close to the production. “It’s not true,” the source clarified to TV9 English, adding that Don 3 follows an entirely new storyline and is set to go on floors by the end of the year.
For the unversed, Farhan Akhtar had introduced Ranveer Singh as the new face of Don with a special announcement video in August 2023. The teaser featured the actor exuding confidence and mystery as he introduced himself as the new Don. Kiara Advani also confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) that she is set to play the female lead. However, the shoot got delayed after she confirmed her pregnancy.
