New Delhi: Nick Jonas turned 33 on September 16, and the first wishes came from none other than his wife, actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The global star marked the occasion by sharing an intimate collection of unseen photographs on her official Instagram handle.
The carousel of images captured everything from candlelit dinners and jet-setting selfies to quiet moments at home with their daughter, Malti Marie.
What stood out across the snapshots was the unmistakable affection between the two. One photograph showed them celebrating at a restaurant, while another revealed candid moments in the middle of work schedules.
Alongside the post, Priyanka penned a heartfelt caption that read, “As we celebrate you today my love, I’m reminiscing, each of the wonderful September 16th’s I’ve been so lucky to spend with you over the years (red heart emoji) so grateful to share life with you. We celebrate you everyday. here’s 2025-2018!”

The couple’s journey has been closely followed by fans ever since rumours of their romance surfaced in 2016, when their interaction reportedly began on Twitter. They made their unofficial debut together at the Met Gala in 2017, sparking speculation. By mid-2018, Nick had proposed in London, followed by a traditional roka ceremony. The pair tied the knot in December that year in an elaborate set of ceremonies that celebrated both Indian and Western traditions.
Their relationship reached another milestone in January 2022 when they welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie, through surrogacy.
In past interviews, Priyanka has reflected on how her relationship with Nick evolved. Speaking to Elle UK, she revealed, “We were just sporadically meeting for about two years. We were texting and stuff, and there may have been a part of me that wanted something serious. But I was taking a hiatus from guys at that point. I didn’t want anyone romantically. But there’s always been something about Nick… When he knows, he knows. There’s such a sublime confidence to it that you can’t help but be like, ‘Okay.’”
