New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan left the audience captivated as he walked the ramp for fashion designer Vikram Phadnis, marking the latter’s remarkable 35 years in the fashion industry. The grand fashion event, attended by several Bollywood celebrities, celebrated Phadnis’ journey as one of India’s most enduring designers.
Salman, 59, who rarely graces the runway, brought his signature charm and charisma to the stage. Dressed in a black traditional sherwani adorned with intricate gold and red floral embroidery, the Sikandar actor exuded elegance and authority.
He paired the look with a black kurta and pyjama, embodying the perfect blend of sophistication and royal flair. His confident walk and effortless style drew loud cheers from the audience, proving once again why his presence remains unmatched.

Vikram Phadnis, who shares a long-standing bond with the superstar, was visibly emotional about the collaboration. The designer has often credited Salman for playing a pivotal role in shaping his career.

Among those spotted were Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh, Bipasha Basu, Karishma Tanna, Divya Dutta, Suniel Shetty, Sonakshi Sinha, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Esha Deol, Malaika Arora, Zaheer Iqbal, and Sussanne Khan, among others. The event was a perfect mix of fashion, nostalgia, and star power.
Vikram Phadnis began his career as a choreographer before transitioning into fashion design, where he built a legacy defined by elegant Indian wear. Over the years, he has dressed countless Bollywood stars and later expanded into filmmaking. His directorial debut, Hrudayantar (2017), received critical acclaim, followed by Smile Please (2019), which is currently being remade in Hindi.
