New Delhi: Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, has been making waves across social media with several memes and reels. The seven-episode series takes potshots at Bollywood with its satirical humour and meaty cameos, make it a must-watch. While the show is a fun watch with several real-life references, including Sameer Wankhede, roundtable conversation featuring Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi, and others, its climax takes the cake.
As viewers were just enjoying a light-hearted watch till episode six, the seventh episode made everyone’s jaws drop with an unpredictable climax. The overdramatic climax with a car chase scene and a fight scene intertwined with an explosive revelation, made it talk of the town. In episode 7 of The Ba***ds of Bollywood, Aasmaan (Lakshya Lalwani) and Karishma (Sahher Bambba) elope from the lavish residence of Ajay Talwar (Bobby Deol). After a crazy car chase scene with Raghav Juyal driving the car and Bobby Deol following in his pink Ferrari. When they decide to get married, Aasmaan calls his mother (Mona Singh) to inform the same and send the location. Ajay too shows up at the venue to make sure that they don’t get married, and Ajay and Aasmaan get into a physical fight. Just then, Mona reveals that Ajay is the father of Aasmaan, which makes him the step-brother of Karishma.
In a flashback scene, it is revealed that Neeta and Ajay came close while filiming for Sailaab 26 years ago, when he was a young star and she was backup dancer. At the same time, Freddi Sodahwallah also discovers the same truth, which lead him to ultimately blackmail Ajay to sign Sailaab 2. On the other hand, Ajay’s son falls in love with the house help.
The Ba***ds of Bollywood is created and directed by Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, and is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment. It also stars Anya Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Gautami Kapoor, and Divik Sharma, among others.
