Bihar Govt Dissolution Imminent: Nitish Kumars Cabinet to Recommend Assembly Disbandment
The Nitish Kumar-led government in Bihar is on the brink of dissolution. A crucial final cabinet meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, where a recommendation for the disbandment of the current Bihar Assembly is expected. Following this, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is anticipated to tender his resignation.
This development will trigger a series of political manoeuvres, beginning with the five constituent parties of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) electing their respective legislative leaders.
Subsequently, these elected leaders will convene at the Chief Ministers residence to choose a unified NDA legislative party leader. This chosen leader will then formally propose the formation of the new government.
Preparations are also underway for a potential swearing-in ceremony, which may take place at Gandhi Maidan in Patna on Wednesday, given that the Rajendra Mandapam at Raj Bhavan is currently undergoing reconstruction.
