The alleged murder took place on Tuesday evening in West Bengaluru, during rush hour. The victim was 39-year-old Bhuvaneshwari, Union Bank of India's assistant manager at the Basaveshwaranagar branch. The accused, Balamurugan, was an employee at a private IT firm, both hailing from Tamil Nadu's Salem.

30-year-old Indian woman found dead at residence in Canada
A 30-year-old Indian woman was found dead at a residence in Toronto, Canada, with police suspecting her intimate partner's role behind the alleged murder. The 32-year-old suspect, Abdul Ghafoori, is on the run and a countrywide warrant for his arrest has been issued, according to Canadian law enforcement. BMC elections: Thackeray brothers will come together today
A major political development has taken place regarding the BMC elections in Mumbai. Today, both Thackeray brothers – Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray – will be seen together and will formally announce their alliance.
The two leaders will announce the alliance at a joint press conference at Hotel Blue Sea in Worli, Mumbai. According to sources, the alliance will include Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction), Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), and Sharad Pawar's Nationalist Congress Party (NCP-SP) may also join the alliance.
Supriya Sule has said many times that she would like to be a part of the alliance of Thackeray brothers. Sule is very close to the families of Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray. Possible seat sharing (according to sources) of the Shiv Sena-MNS-NCP (SP) alliance for the BMC elections could be like Shiv Sena (UBT): 145 to 150 seats, MNS: 65 to 70 seats, NCP (SP): (if it joins alliance), 10 to 15 seats. Sources say the Shiv Sena (UBT) has left 12 to 15 sitting seats for the MNS. Most of the former councillors from these seats have now joined the Shinde faction's Shiv Sena. The official announcement regarding the alliance and seat sharing will be made today at 12 noon.
