The Enforcement Directorate has intensified its investigation into industrialist Anil Ambani and his Reliance Group, taking significant action by attaching assets valued at over ₹3,000 crore. Among the properties seized is Ambani’s upscale residence in Mumbai's Pali Hill.

The extensive attachment also includes flats, plots, and office spaces belonging to Reliance Communications and Reliance Infrastructure, located in cities such as Delhi, Noida, Goa, Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai.

Notably, the Reliance Centre, Ambani's office situated within Hotel Ranjit in Central Delhi, is also part of the attached properties. This move by the ED is linked to serious allegations of bank fund diversion, reportedly exceeding ₹20,000 crore. The agency has asserted that the Ambani group and associated entities allegedly channelled corporate loans to shell companies and subsidiaries, with the intent to siphon off these funds.

Furthermore, the ED has also alleged large-scale round-tripping of funds within the various Reliance Group companies. The probe underscores a comprehensive crackdown on financial irregularities.
