Earlier dramatic scenes unfolded at Rahul Easwar’s residence in Trivandrum where the police conducted search operations at his house in Powdikkonam where the cops seized his laptop.

Rahul's wife, Deepa Rahul Easwar, who was present when the police arrived, said the cops searched the house for a device and she was not particularly aware of what it was.

The police suspect that the social media posts were edited and uploaded from the laptop. They felt recovering it was crucial for further probe.

Rahul Mamkoottathil submits additional evidence against complainant

Suspended Congress MLA Rahul Mamkootathil, accused in a sexual assault case, has submitted additional digital evidence against the complainant before a Thiruvananthapuram court on Monday. Rahul, who remains in hiding, filed the material through his lawyer Sasthamangalam Ajith.
