India's Commerce and Industry Minister, Piyush Goyal, recently hosted a high-level dinner meeting with a delegation from the European Union (EU) in New Delhi. The meeting, attended by the EU's Trade and Economic Security Commissioner and Agriculture and Food Commissioner, centred on the ongoing negotiations for an India-EU free trade agreement.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to concluding the negotiations as soon as possible. The discussions highlighted the potential for a balanced and mutually beneficial agreement to create new opportunities for businesses and citizens in both India and Europe.
