PM Modi Offers Prayers at Srisailam Temple, Inaugurates ₹13,430 Cr Development Projects in Andhra

Prime Minister Narendra Modi commenced his Andhra Pradesh tour with prayers at the sacred Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Varla Devasthanam in Srisailam. Following this, he inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development projects worth ₹13,430 crore, aiming to boost infrastructure and address regional development concerns across the Rayalaseema region.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated his official visit to Andhra Pradesh with a spiritual stop at the revered Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Varla Devasthanam in Srisailam. The temple, one of Indias twelve Jyotirlingas and fifty-two Shakti Peeths, holds unique significance for housing both divine powers within one complex. Mr Modi performed puja and participated in rituals at this sacred site.

Following his temple visit, the Prime Minister proceeded to unveil a series of major development projects across the state. These initiatives, collectively valued at ₹13,430 crore, primarily focus on enhancing infrastructure in the Rayalaseema region.

The projects span critical sectors including industry, power transmission, roads, railways, defence, manufacturing, and petroleum and natural gas, underscoring a significant governmental commitment to regional advancement.
