Tale of three bullets: In UP's Meerut, wife gets husband murdered by lover after he discovered affair

New Delhi: Normally, three bullets represent the three volleys fired and the three words: Duty, honor, and country. But in a chilling incident in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut district that can rival any Bollywood script, three bullets played the fatal role in a wife's plan to murder her husband. She got her lover to kill her husband after the latter found out about her affair.

When people found Rahul's body in a field outside his village, it was riddled with three bullet marks. He was married to Anjali, and the couple had three children. After his death, the wife mourned, but then she reportedly eloped with her lover, the alleged murderer.

At first, the police considered robbery as the murder's motive. But then they dug deeper and found a shocking story.

Anjali was missing from her home in Agwanpur village as the police tried to question her in the case. According to the police, she was having an affair with Ajay, a resident of the same village. When they tried to contact him, Ajay was also missing from his home. They later found the duo hiding.

During questioning, Ajay told the police that Rahul came to know about their affair. It made Anjali so upset that she decided to kill him. The plan was to call Rahul near the fields and execute the murder. According, Rahul reached the shot, and Ajay shot him thrice.

This incident is on similar lines with the case of Kajal killing her husband or Muskan murdering her husband with the help of her lover . In other news, a case has been cracked by Bengaluru police in which a certain Dr. Kruthika has been murdered by her husband, Dr. Mahendra Reddy, an anaesthetist at Bowring Hospital. Reddy allegedly exploited his medical knowledge and Kruthika’s existing health issues to administer a fatal dose of anaesthetic, making her death appear natural.
